An alliance of Sudanese opposition political parties — the Sudan Appeal signatories — says it will extend its campaign beyond Khartoum and Gezira States to boycott the upcoming April elections, in line with its stated intent to overthrow the NCP-led government.
Bakri Yusuf, the spokesman of the Sudan Appeal signatories said in a press statement that the next campaign will be organized in other states in late February and March including Darfur states and the Kordofan region.
He pointed out that the move aims at implementing the Sudan Appeal document on the ground in order to persuade the people of Sudan to boycott the upcoming elections in April.
