At least four passengers travelling by truck in Sudan’s Blue Nile State were killed and six others wounded when a landmine exploded on Friday, according to a medical source in Damazin.
The source told Radio Tamazuj that the incident took place south of Damazin town when the truck was carrying citizens who have recently been displaced.
Blue Nile Centre for Human Rights and Peace reported that the truck was also loaded with local building materials.
The explosion resulted in the killing of four people and wounding of six others, one in critical condition. The wounded were taken to Damazin Hospital for treatment.
