The family of two Sudanese brothers who were reported missing at Juba Airport in South Sudan has demanded to know their whereabouts since last 10 June.
The two men were identified as Mohamed Abu Baker, 27, and Hamid Abu Baker, 24. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, their brother Jabir Abu Baker said the missing men were traders in Pariang county of Unity state for over seven years.
“They took a plane from Yida camp to Juba where they mysteriously disappeared at the airport, according to their friend who they left at a terminal,” he said.
He further said they opened a police case in Juba on 24 June, but there haven’t been any results from the police authorities so far.
Jabir pointed out his two brothers were in possession of 150,000 SSP.
Several family members in Nyala town in South Darfur state collapsed after hearing of the disappearance of Hamid and Abu Baker in Juba, according to Jabir.
