Sudan Armed Forces sends military reinforcements to Jebel Kalgo

The Sudan Armed Force has sent military reinforcements Thursday to Jebel Kalgo about 35 kilometers from Damazin town, amid speculation of new escalation of military operation between government and SPLM-North rebels in Blue Nile state.

The Sudan Armed Force has sent military reinforcements Thursday to Jebel Kalgo about 35 kilometers from Damazin town, amid speculation of new escalation of military operation between government and SPLM-North rebels in Blue Nile state.

Local sources revealed that vehicles loaded with guns have moved from Damazin towards Jebel Kalgo where the SPLM-N is fighting.

Meanwhile, the government of Blue Nile has announced mobilization in a number of government institutions, calling of employees to go to military training camps.

The sources confirmed the formation of a high committee for mobilization led by the speaker of the state legislative council amid expectations of escalation of fighting in the state.
