Sudan’s government has announced a campaign to rehabilitate Abu Karshola, an area in South Kordofan State damaged in fighting last year between the army and the Sudan Revolutionary Front.

Sudan’s government has announced a campaign to rehabilitate Abu Karshola, an area in South Kordofan State damaged in fighting last year between the army and the Sudan Revolutionary Front.

Authorities in the state have appealed to the general public, voluntarily organizations and civil administration to get involved in the rehabilitation campaign of Abu Kershola Locality.

In a statement to official Sudan Media Center, the Commissioner of Abu Kershola Locality Ghurak Kambal said the area was completely destroyed and the civilians have lost everything.  

He appealed to all Sudanese people to join the rehabilitation campaign launched by the government.
