Sudan’s Defense Minister Abdel Rahim Mohamed Hessen met with his South Sudanese counterpart Kuol Manyang Juuk to resolve outstanding issues of security between the two countries.

The two ministers discussed joint projects and issued related to security as well as the common border between Sudan and South Sudan.

Kuol was accompanying South Sudan's Vice President James Wani Igga who headed a delegation to Khartoum to witness a signing ceremony for an Ethiopian dam project.
