Juba University has made their way to the finals in the on-going inter-university football tournament in Juba.
This was after beating Saint Mary University 2-0 in the semi-final match at Juba University playground in Juba on Saturday evening.
Juba University scored two goals in the second half which was enough to send them to the finals and they will now face the winner between Stafford and Catholic match.
Juba University coach Ramadhan Juma had a few words after the match and thanked his players for the good game.
“In the first half of today’s match we were not quite organized but in the second half we changed our plan and that is why we became victorious. I would like to thank my team and now that we will play in the final match I hope that we win.” Juma said.

St Mary coach Santo John said that this was historical for his team for the fact that it was their first time to take part in the tournament.
“This is our first time to take part in this league, and it is historic because we managed to reach the semi-finals. We hope next year we will be in the finals and of course win the cup,’ said Santo.”

The inter-university football tournament kicked off on 4 October with an aim of creating a spirit of social interactions and peace between universities students in Juba and will end on 24 October.
