South Sudan’s Minister of Electricity and Dams, Dhieu Mathok, said sports activities can unite the people of South Sudan.
The official is currently in his home village of Ariath in Bahr al Gahzal region to participate in the anniversary of the death of his father, chief Mathok Diing Wol.
He said matches were organized by the family in different places in honour of the wishes of his late father. Awards were also presented to the winners.
The final match was held at Wathok area.
Minister Dhieu lauded the efforts of the local youth association in continuing to show interest in football activities.
