Sport is the only way to link the people of Sudan and South Sudan according to the Deputy Ambassador of Sudan in South Sudan Osama Ahmed A. Farrage.

Farrage made the comments during a speech at the final of the Ramadan football league that was recently held in Juba.

Any security problem facing Sudan will also effect South Sudanese people and vise versa, the ambassador said. He suggested that football teams in Sudan, such as Hilal FC and Merrikh FC could be invited to play in South Sudan. He also said that teams from South Sudan should travel to Sudan for sport.

The Ramadan football league Cup has won by the  Media team against the University of Juba team.
