SPLM party official in Khartoum, Mach Yak Dau who went missing last Thursday, was released yesterday.
Yak, who is the chairman of the defunct SPLM-IO chapter in Khartoum, told Radio Tamazuj on Monday that he was arrested by Sudanese security officials while he was leaving the university and taken to Kobar prison.
He said he was accused of spoiling the peace process going on in Khartoum between the South Sudanese government and opposition forces.
According to Yak, the security officials let him go yesterday after finding no evidence to support the allegations labelled against him.
