A delegation of the SPLM-Juba will leave tomorrow for China on the invitation by the Communist Party of China for training on party management, discipline, and accountability.
The delegation comprises twenty state secretariat and parliament members.
Speaking on Monday to the press at SPLM House, acting secretary general Anne Itto, who will be leading the delegation, said the training will last ten days.
“Here we are conducting an orientation for twenty cadres of the SPLM coming from SPLM states secretariats and from the parliament,” she said. “This orientation is in preparing for political training that has been offered to us by the communist party in China.”
Itto said that the training is in accord with a memorandum of understanding signed in 2011 between the Communist party of China and SPLM party.
