The military spokesman of the SPLA-IO has accused government force of attacking their position in Koch County in Unity State.

Col. William Gatjiath Deng, military spokesman of the SPLM/A-IO, told Radio Tamazuj that government forces attacked their position in Koch, adding that one soldier from the government force was killed and they have seized a number of military equipments.

He pointed out that one soldier from their part was killed before they repulsed the government force.

The military spokesman also accused elements from the government force of raping five women in SPLM-IO held areas in Ayod on Saturday.

Radio Tamazuj was unable to reach the government side for comment.
