Over 200 SPLM carders on Wednesday concluded a two-day training workshop in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State centered on the party’s working documents.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday, the Northern Bahr el Ghazal State SPLM secretary for information, Gabriel Bol Dut, said the training was meant to equip all SPLM members from state, county, and Payam levels with knowledge about the party’s working documents.
“The training was conducted for two days and it talked about four documents of the SPLM which are the code of conduct, rules and regulations, manifesto, and the constitution. The training was very interesting and all the participants were invited from the different counties of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State,’’ Bol said.
Awut Kuel Kuel, a senior SPLM member in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State said the workshop was interesting and that they learned a lot about the governing documents of the party.
“The training was very interesting indeed because we didn’t know the manifesto and the constitution of SPLM and the officials from the national secretariat came and informed us thoroughly about the constitution and the manifesto,” Kuel said.
Another carder, Abraham Aluk, said they reviewed all SPLM documents and learned that the manifesto talks about the strategic objectives of the party.
“The training was very fruitful. We started with a review of the manifesto of SPLM which was declared on 18th July 1983 and the manifesto talks about what the SPLM wanted to achieve during the revolution,’’ said Aluk.
