Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday, Lul Ruai Koang, the SPLA army spokesman, said they arrested the army officer in charge and three other soldiers, adding that they have all been found guilty.

He pointed out that the officer in charge was arrested after one of the accused escaped from the prison. Lul also noted that the victims were able to identify their perpetrators, who then confessed.

According to the army spokesperson, two of the soldiers claim they were drunk, yet another claimed he was cheated by the devil.
