An SPLA soldier has been accused of killing a trader at the Marol Deng Geng road this week, according to authorities in Malual County of the proposed Lol state.
According to local officials Hon. Angok Maadi, the soldier surrendered himself to the police after allegedly killing a trader.
“It is unclear why he killed him while they are from the same area” Angok said. “It is this reason he reported himself to police without being arrested because he knew very well people would find him and there is way for him to hide,” he added.
Maadi confirmed the situation is calm as authorities in the area are handling the matter as police investigations continue.
