An SPLA officer from the war disabled department has been shot dead by unidentified gunman along Kuacjok – Wau road.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when someone opened fire on a vehicle carrying the officer, killing him on the spot, according to a local source. 

The victim was from Gogrial. His family appealed to police to arrest the culprit.
