The Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North (SPLA-North) claimed that they repulsed a government attack on their position in Jebel Kolgi area west of the Blue Nile State capital Damazin on Saturday.

Arnu Ngutulu Lodi, the SPLM-North military spokesman accused the government forces of shelling Wad Abuk area in Al Tadamoun Locality, killing many civilians.

Radio Tamazuj could not reach the Sudan Army spokesman Al Sawarmi Khalid Saad to comment on the matter.
