SPLA-N: Five SAF soldiers killed at Bau, Blue Nile

The Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North (SPLA-N) destroyed a Sudanese army convoy heading toward Bau Locality in Blue Nile state on 20 June, said rebel spokesperson Arnu Ngutulu Lodi Thursday.

In a statement, Lodi said the SPLA-N inflicted heavy losses on the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and captured three Land Cruisers, two pickups, and one Nissan mounted with heavy weaponry.

“We managed to destroy a convoy at Jebel Kaleed northwest of Khor Mangenza area, besides killing of five soldiers including First Lieutenant Abdurrahman Margum Suleiman of the Fourth Division and wounding several SAF soldiers who were transported to Damazin town,” Lodi said.

Lodi said one SPLA-N soldier was killed and another one wounded during clashes.
