SPLA-IO accuses govt troops of attacks near Leer town

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, Yoach stated the attackers killed two elderly men, raped 15 women and took citizen’s properties including 50 heads of cows in the area.

“The forces of Salva Kiir attacked Adok Al Bahr area around 2:30 pm on Saturday and started shooting randomly, they killed two elderly men and robbed properties from the citizens, they also raped about 15 women” said Yoach.

The rebel official pointed out that the citizens fled to the bush after the government attack. Yoach pointed out that the SPA-IO forces decided to withdraw from Adok Al Bahr area without any clashes following the government attack.
