SPLA Division 6 football team in Maridi on Sunday beat Super Boys association team 2-1 in a friendly match played in Maridi.

Joseph Yal opened the scoring for the army team in the first half and Manas Khamis scored the second goal in the second half to make the score 2-0. Isaac Coscos who came from the bench for the Super Boys team scored one late goal for super boys to make 2-1 in the final time of the game.

The game was organized to build relationship between the youths and soldiers in Maridi, and was attended by Maridi County dignitaries headed by the Commissioner Maj. Ismail Fatala Abdallah, division top officials and the football fans in Maridi playing ground.

SPLA Division 6 wore orange jerseys and Super Boys wore blue jerseys.
