The Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA), the national army of South Sudan, refused to comment on the resignation of Lieutenant General Thomas Cirillo Swaka from his position as the deputy chief of general staff for logistics.

Cirillo’s letter on Saturday, accused President Salva Kiir of pursuing a policy of ethnic domination in the country.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, Lul Ruai Koang, the spokesman of the SPLA army, declined to comment on the resignation of Gen. Thomas Cirillo, saying they heard about the resignation via media.

However, Lul said the army leadership would response to the matter soon.
