Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday, Lul Ruai Koang, Spokesman of the SPLA forces, said that a large number of the white army militia from Bieh Stat has recently joined the government.

Lul claimed that the government forces managed to capture Yuai, Muotot, Patuet and Pathai areas without any resistance, saying about 25% of the militia group decided to support the government.

For his part, William Gatjiath, Military Spokesman of the SPLA-IO forces, denied Lul’s claims, saying there were continuing clashes in the area. However, Gatjiath admitted that the government forces are controlling Yuai town.
