South Sudanese refugee obliged to report daily to security office in East Darfur

A South Sudanese refugee in Sudan’s East Darfur State have been obliged to report daily to the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) since being detained, questioned and released by security agents last week.

A South Sudanese refugee in Sudan’s East Darfur State have been obliged to report daily to the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) since being detained, questioned and released by security agents last week. 

Al-Fadil Issa was arrested in Al-Fardous Locality over statements to media houses including Radio Tamazuj regarding the humanitarian situation of refugees in the area.

A source, who preferred anonymity, told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that Al Fadil was released without charge on the condition that he reports to the NISS office daily.
