A South Sudanese refugee has been stabbed to death in Sudan’s White Nile State, a civil society activist said.

The incident occurred at Khor Al-Waral refugee camp last Thursday.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday, the Director for Nile Organization for Peace and Development, Phillip Lam Nyawella said Mujuok Augustine Obaj was stabbed to death at the camp.

He revealed that the incident occurred after a disagreement over PlayStation games, adding that police arrested the perpetrator.

The activist urged Sudanese authorities to ban some games in the camp.
