South Sudanese man shot and killed by criminals in North Darfur

A South Sudanese national was shot and killed on Saturday evening by unknown gunmen in Al-Fashir town in Sudan’s North State.

One of local residents who preferred anonymity identified the victim as Peter Adhual. He told Radio Tamazuj that the man was working at a shop selling scratch cards at the market in Al Fashir town.

He further narrated that Peter was intercepted by an armed group on his way home at Hai Al Nasr on Saturday. He added that the group took Peter’s money at gunpoint and then shot him dead. He pointed out that the perpetrators fled to an unknown direction.

Last Friday, a member of Sudan’s National Security Service was also killed by unidentified gunmen near the office of the stock market at Hai Tijaniya.
