South Sudanese citizens who are living in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum have called on the government and the opposition to stop the ongoing war and bring peace.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj in Khartoum on Monday, several South Sudanese nationals emphasized the importance of peace and unity among the people of South Sudan.

Aggrey Khamis, a South Sudanese living in Khartoum, urged South Sudan leaders to stop the war and bring peace. He lamented that many children were born and died during the war in the country.

Grace Alexander also called on South Sudan politicians to achieve peace so the economic situation could improve.

Lilly Awad called for peace so that the conflict-displaced families can return to home peacefully.
