South Sudanese living in Uganda called on both rebel leader Riek Machar and President Salva Kiir to step aside from the top leadership in the country.
This comes during the first consultative discussions conducted by the national dialogue subcommittee on refugees and international outreach at Imperial Royal Hotel in Kampala on Wednesday.
Over 200 South Sudanese from diverse backgrounds participated in the consultative discussions. The participants were allowed to propose solutions to the country's problems.
Many participants called on President Salva Kiir and rebel leader Riek Machar to step aside from the top leadership and allow a democratic transformation in the country.
