A South Sudanese schoolboy died on Wednesday after he was hit by a car while crossing the street in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

A South Sudanese schoolboy died on Wednesday after he was hit by a car while crossing the street in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

Alam Agot, an uncle to the young boy, told Radio Tamazuj Friday that the accident happened as the boy was crossing the road in the Kasarani area.

He pointed out that the deceased, Lual Manyok Riak, was a primary school pupil.

Agot noted that the driver of the car that caused the road accident was released on bail after preliminary investigations were carried out.
