South Sudanese authorities ban Darfuri refugees from talking to media

Darfuri refugees living in Boro Medina camp in Raja County of South Sudan's Western Bahr el Ghazal state say they've been banned from speaking to media about their humanitarian conditions.

Several refugees, who hail from Sudan's South Darfur region and preferred anonymity, told Radio Tamazuj on Monday that living conditions have worsened in the camp and that there are poor health services.

They said they were suffering due to a lack of food and basic health services amid absence of humanitarian organizations operating in the area.

Boro Medina area accommodates hundreds of Sudanese national who fled fighting in South Darfur State since 2005.
