South Sudan’s Kiir to visit Khartoum soon: Official

South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir would visit Khartoum soon to meet his Sudanese counterpart President Omer al-Bashir to discuss bilateral relations between the two Sudans, Ambassador Mayen Dut Wol said.

South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir would visit Khartoum soon to meet his Sudanese counterpart President Omer al-Bashir to discuss bilateral relations between the two Sudans, Ambassador Mayen Dut Wol said.

Dut, who met with Sudan’s Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour in Khartoum, announced that Salva Kiir would visit Sudan to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties.

For his part, Sudan’s Foreign Minister urged the government of South Sudan to activate the outcomes of the discussions and agreements reached during the visit of South Sudan’s First Vice President Taban Deng to Khartoum recently.
