South Sudan’s Kiir appoints four new ambassadors

The South Sudanese President Salva Kiir on Wednesday night appointed four new ambassadors into the ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation.

The South Sudanese President Salva Kiir on Wednesday night appointed four new ambassadors into the ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation.

The appointed ambassadors are:

  • Martha Nyamal Choat, ambassador grade 2
  • David Dang Kong, ambassador grade 2
  • Philip Nyuon Akau, ambassador grade 3
  • Agok Madut, ambassador grade 3

In another decree, Kiir appointed Mohammed Lino Benjamin as the new technical adviser to the ministry of petroleum.

The decrees went into effect on April 11.
