South Sudan’s Interior Minister Michael Chiangjiek has vowed to tackle insecurity caused by criminals in the capital Juba.

South Sudan’s Interior Minister Michael Chiangjiek has vowed to tackle insecurity caused by criminals in the capital Juba.

Speaking at a meeting with police officers on Wednesday, Minister Chiangjiek urged the police to work as a team to crack down on criminal acts.

The official revealed that his ministry plans to eliminate the so-called unknown gunmen, saying they are responsible directly for the security situation within Juba city.
