South Sudan rebels kill three at village near Wau

Rebel forces attacked Farajallah area in Wau County early on Monday morning killing at least three people vefore leaving the area.

Tingo Peter, the rebel-appointed 'governor' of Western Bahr al Ghazal, said that their forces captured Farajallah, killed three government soldiers and seized some weapons and vehicles before withdrawing.

He said three of their soldiers were slightly injured in the attack.

Elia Kamilo Dimo, Wau County Commissioner, accused the rebels instead of killing civilians saying that a newborn child died in a house that was set on fire and one old man was killed, besides also one government soldier.
