South Sudan national wildlife officer killed by colleague in Juba

A South Sudanese national wildlife service officer was shot dead by his colleague on Monday at the service’s headquarters in Juba after a quarrel between the two.

Col. William Ajak said that the two officers picked up quarreling over a conversation relating to recent fighting between SPLA and SPLA-IO.

The victim was identified as Paul Kenyi. His body was taken to Tali in Terekeka County for burial and accompanied by some wildlife officials.

The perpetrator has been taken to Juba police station for further investigation under charge of murder under section 206 of the South Sudan penal code act 2008.
