South Sudan’s Ambassador to Khartoum Mayan Dut Wol said that his government has presented a complaint officially to the Sudanese government over Machar’s political activities.
South Sudan armed opposition faction led by ousted vice president Riek Machar declared war against President Salva Kiir following secret meetings held recently in Khartoum.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, Mayan Dut stated the political activities being conducted by Machar contradict the Khartoum government’s previous statement that it received Machar for medical treatment only.
“We have protested and informed them that it is not good because when they received Riek Machar they said it was on humanitarian ground, “said Mayan.
“So we said this is a clear support, and we called on them to stop his from conducting such activities because he is here for humanitarian reasons only,” he added.
