South Sudan girls’ football team will face Kenya team in Uganda on 21 August in this year’s East Africa Secondary School Games.
The competition comprising of all East African nations is scheduled to be launched on August 20 in Gulu, Uganda.
According to the team’s coach, it will be the ninth participation for the team to represent South Sudan in the East African games.
“We are fully prepared and waiting for the departure to Gulu, Uganda, where our South Sudan girls’ team will face Kenya team on August 21. This will be the ninth time for our team to participate in the East African tournament. The last of which was two years ago in Tanzania,” said Coach Moses Machar.
In the past years, South Sudan girls’ football team lost to Kenya team, but according to the teams’ captain this year would be different because they are fully prepared to face the Kenyan team.
