South Sudan foreign ministry reports shortage of diplomat staff

Mawien Makol, spokesman of South Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that they presented a budget to recruit additional staff in the 2015 budget tabled before the National Legislative Assembly for approval.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, Makol said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is facing shortages of diplomatic staff and other employees. He pointed out that the parliament approved some new items in the ministry's budget.

The South Sudanese diplomat predicted passing of the presented budget by the parliament, saying they will announce vacant positions at the Ministry in the near future or after the final approval by the Parliament.
