South Sudanese parties are scheduled to ink an agreement on security arrangements in Khartoum today to end the ongoing war.
On Thursday, Sudanese army announced that the South Sudan parties reached compromises on the outstanding issues on the security arrangement chapter.
The Sudanese government extended invitation letters to journalists this morning to cover the signing ceremony of the security arrangements deal at the Military Intelligence buildings this afternoon.
The outstanding points agreed upon include demilitarization of civilian centres, timeframe for integration of forces, formation of a joint security committee, and cantonment sites.
