Etihad FC (in black) beat Nujum FC (in red) by penalty shots 5 to 4 goals on Wednesday at Juba Stadium in the Juba football association qualifiers for the South Sudan Cup 2016.

The match had ended in a draw for both teams by one goal for each team, where Nujum FC scored its goal in the first half and Etihad FC scored a goal in the second half of the match.

Administrator of Nujum FC Phillip Deng said that Nujum FC had missed many opportunities, saying in the end the good luck was with Etihad FC.

Nujum FC is knocked out of the tournament, while Etihad FC will face Nasir on 29 March in the second stage of the competition where second division winning teams will face teams from the first division.

Today, Sunday, Alhuria FC will face Black Eagle; the winner of the match will meet Mariekh FC on 30 March.
