South Sudan Bright Star return to Juba after 2-0 loss in Mali

South Sudan's national football team has returned from Mali after a 2-0 loss in the African Cup of Nations qualifying rounds.

The Bright Star faced off against the Eagles in Mali's capital Bamako on 13 June 2015.

Modibo Maiga and Salif Coulibaly scored the two goals in the 17th and 29th minutes, respectively.

Mali won despite missing several key players due to injury. The victory moves them to the top of Group C.

The Bright Star previously this year lost 2-0 in a friendly against Kenya. They will next face Equatorial Guinea.
