South Sudan accuses Sudan of air strikes in Upper Nile

Juba has accused Khartoum of aerial bombardment in South Sudan on Monday and Tuesday this week.

Kella Dual Kueth, deputy spokesman for the South Sudan army accused Sudan of launching air strikes targeting civilians early this week in Upper Nile state.

Kueth told Radio Tamazuj that Khartoum's aim to create fatigue amongst citizens and instability in those areas, noting that no reports have been received from yesterday's attacks but that there were random strikes in Rubkona.

He said the victims are still scattered in the area and being counted.
