Kim Kee Choon, Chairman of the Korean Community South Sudan, says that Korea will support a peace concert in Juba on 9 April.
Kim, who is also director of Korean Sport Mission for South Sudan, spoke at a press conference today with Dr. Tong Deran, South Sudan Olympic Committee Secretary General, and the Sports Director in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Edward Satimo.
Kim said that Korea after a great war of its own was able to enjoy sports and peace and pointed out that South Sudan needs to pass this phase soon so that it enjoys peace.
He said that he will bring singers from South Korea to perform beside singers from South Sudan in a grand concert at Juba Stadium and this event will be attended by thousands of children and adults.
