The head of the Sudanese Umma Party in South Kordofan State on Sunday announced his resignation from the party and he immediately joined the Sudanese ruling National Congress Party (NCP) led by President Omar Al-Bashir.
Mohammad Jajah Al-Dhai who took an oath in the presence of the state NCP chair and the state governor Issa Adam Abakar told the press that he was joining the NCP with a genuine political will, not in search of power.
He stressed that he had a strong conviction to work within NCP’s regulations to stop the war and bring peace to South Kordofan.
