South Kordofan reinstates 45 civil servants

The authorities in Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan State in Sudan, have reinstated 45 civil servants who allegedly had been dismissed from their positions over the last two years. The decision comes for the implement of South Kordofan governor Adam El Faki orders their reinstatement to the public service.

A source confirmed to Radio Tamazuj that the state authorities have organized a reception ceremony for the first batch of dismissed civil servants, after which the reinstatement process will immediately begin.

The dismissed employees allegedly left their positions following the eruption of war in South Kordofan, June 2011, between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Army-North (SPLA-N).

Daoud Abu Kalam, a journalist in South Kordofan, confirmed the passing away of Hafiz Mohamed Suar, Minister of Finance, South Kordofan state, along with his driver, in a traffic accident in El Shawal area in White Nile state. The burial took place at Ahmed Sharfi cemetery in Omdurman.
