South Kordofan government reinstates 23 civil servants

The state government of South Kordofan has issued an order reinstating 23 civil servants, who were dismissed when the war erupted against the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North (SPLA-N) in the province.

The state government of South Kordofan has issued an order reinstating 23 civil servants, who were dismissed when the war erupted against the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North (SPLA-N) in the province.

A source confirmed that the 23 individuals have resumed work in the local administrations of Umm Dorein, Heiban, Buram, and east village localities controlled by the SPLA-N.

One of the reinstated civil servants who preferred not to be identified, told Radio Tamazuj they have already been paid one-month’s salary and the Governor promised them a total of two years pay.

The South Kordofan Governor has reportedly organized a reception ceremony for the reinstated civil servants.
