About six pharmacists on Monday appeared before Aweil Court on charges of possession of suspected stolen medicines at Aweil Hospital.

Gen. Mareng Deng, Acting Police Commissioner in Aweil, General, said the suspects were arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) earlier this month. Deng pointed out that the security personnel are closely following the case.

Separately, Santino Mayuat Ngong, member of the state legislative assembly, complained about poor health services in the state, while calling on NGOs to support the health sector.
