The sixth humanitarian aid convoy has left the town of Al Obeid in Sudan and headed to South Sudan’s Bentiu town to assist the needy people in South Sudan.
Ahmed Babikir Al-Hassan, coordinator of humanitarian aid commission in North Kordofan State, said in a press statement that the high relief committee is trying its level best to collect enough humanitarian aids to assist the people of South Sudan before the rainy season starts.
Al-Hassan further said the sixth convoy comprises of 807 tonnes of food items.
