Silah football club has won against Aweil Stars by 2 goals to 1 at Aweil Freedom Squared on Tuesday in a final game competition of the Aweil State Football Association to qualify for South Sudan Cup of 2016.

Aweil Stars FC team scored 1 goal in the first half of the game but a striker from Silah FC John Dog rescue his team by scoring 2 goals in the second half of the game.

After the match, Silah FC received donations of 10,000 pounds from the governor, 3000 pounds from the state legislative assembly, and 3000 pounds from the government of Aweil East state.

Silah FC will play their next games with other winning teams across the country once the Football Association for South Sudan announces the schedule for the next matches.
