A new health facility in Paloich County of Upper Nile has run short of medicines. The clinic is being run by the Nile Petroleum Company, according to local citizens.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj yesterday, several citizens expressed concern about shortages of medicines at the hospital, amid increasing diseases in the area.
They outright accused the management of the hospital of selling the medical supplies to commercial pharmacies. They said the destitute could not buy drugs there because of rising price of medicines.
“The management of the hospital is corrupt, so the relevant authorities should monitor it properly,” one citizen said.
