The only authorized center for yellow fever vaccine in Juba has run out of the vaccine over the past few days, according to travelers who applied for the vaccine on Friday.
The State Ministry of Health in Jubek State faces many difficulties in purchasing the Yellow Fever Vaccine owning to economic hardships in the conflict-torn country.
Sources within the ministry complain of lack of budget from both national and state ministries of health. The source pointed out that the center purchase its vaccines from Khartoum but due to lack of hard currency described the budget as not enough.
International and regional travelers are required to obtain Yellow Fever Vaccination.
